It seems like only yesterday I was excited for the release of Armageddon. So far, all I’ve done is take the assembly manual and rule book out of the box. Yikes.
I have an incredible backlog / pile of shame to work through and I think that is what has been holding me back. So I’ve given myself a kick. Get started on something. Get it completed. Repeat.
So far I’ve completed the Angels of Death Space Marine Captain and Plague Marine Heavy Gunner. That’s 2/14 of the Kill Team Starter Set and I plan to batch paint one color at a time the remaining 6 + 6.
I chose my Kill Team box to do first, as Kill Team is a game I am keen to learn, and seeing the Armageddon box announcement has reinvigorated me to do so. My 2027 goal is to learn the game system as much as possible.
Kill Team is a system you can play alone and I look forward to learning through playing the solo campaigns.
November / Christmas is silly season, so I’m unlikely to get through much of my pile until the new year, but as long as I do so one model at a time, I’ll get through it eventually. I’ve set myself the rule of no more buying until the pile is empty, with the exception of the new Kill Team Armageddon box set.
